Yesterday I was able to get the lawn mower started, tires fixed, and all of the brush picked up. There is a huge pile of debris at the back of our property that I need to burn. There is so much work to do to fix up the yard that it’s a bit depressing.

This afternoon I started mowing the lawn. It’s amazing how much better things look when the lawn is mowed! I was holding Brinley on my lap while driving the mower and she actually fell asleep in the middle of all the noise and racket.

Michele is not doing very well today. I went to church with Tristan while she stayed home with Brinley, Keegan, and Cohen. At church we read in Matthew 20-21 about Jesus and how he was always oriented toward outsiders like the two blind men waiting by the side of the road. Others tried to shush these two guys, to keep them quiet, but Jesus immediately stopped and addressed them in response to their shouting.
