Norma, yeah, some librarians, at least, read a lot! Have you had this reaction to telling someone that you’re a librarian? “Oh, what a neat job. I’d *love* to be able to sit around and read books all day like you do.” Yeah, right.

I have been an avid lifelong reader. Interestingly, though, the level or pace at which I read dropped dramatically after graduate school. Don’t know why.
