Foiled by technology

I consider myself a pretty techno-centric guy. I am a pretty fast learner when presented with new technologies but right now I am stumped. Yesterday a new combo DVD burner/player plus VHS recorder came via UPS and I was excited to get it set up and running. However, several hours later I still couldn’t get it to work and I gave up in frustration. It makes me feel pretty dumb to be foiled by technology :-)

    You’re not alone, Steve! I was trying to set up wireless with my DSL. I’m testing DSL vs. cable modem but I MUST have my wireless! I still haven’t figured out why it isn’t working!

    Thanks for the comment, Char. You made me feel a bit better ;-) I finally got the player to work; the setup of electronics has always been challenging for me.
